All repairs completed by M&L Truck Service meet D.O.T. regulations. Also, we are checked up on by Maryland State inspection personnel at random to ensure we always are up to the standards.

You can have confidence knowing that M&L Truck Service operates with honesty and integrity. When inspecting vehicles, we utilize state requirements to ensure the safe operation of your vehicle. Our technicians are trained and licensed and you can rest assured we are honest and upright in our assessment of any repairs that may need to be completed. Once the inspection report is provided, the vehicle can be repaired by the customer, M&L Truck Service, or any repair shop of the customer’s choice.

With every service we check the items below and provide a report to you that states the status of each component. If anything needs to be repaired, we can schedule a repair date before you leave.

  • Instruments: horn, air buzzer, backup alarm, etc.
  • Heater and defroster for proper operation
  • Integrity and structure of all glass and mirrors
  • Wiper blades and windshield washers
  • Lights (function, integrity of glass, etc)
  • Engine operation and sound
  • Front end components
  • Link-P/S Ram, wheel bearings, idler arm, hubs
  • Clutch adjustment
  • Doors (open and close properly)
  • Safety equipment (fire extinguishers, triangles, first aid kits, chocks, etc.)
  • Batteries (clean terminals and load test)
  • Alternator and starter
  • All belts
  • All water hoses for leaking or hardening
  • Radiator
  • Frame, cross members, springs, suspension, etc.
  • Shocks and engine mounts
  • Drive shaft, u-joints, hangers
  • Trans and rear, make sure yokes are tight, fluid okay
  • Check and drain air tanks
  • Brakes (adjust/check camshafts, bushings, seals)
  • Exhaust system (pipes, hangers, converter, muffler)
  • Lubricate complete vehicle (oil change and filters)
  • Cabin and sleeper air filters
  • Tires and rims
  • Blow out radiator
  • Check P.T.O. or hydraulic system

We also check to see when the annual D.O.T. inspection is due, or done last. And we check to see the inside cleanliness of the vehicle.
