Roadside Service is available for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles on Delmarva from M&L Truck Service. Get repaired on-site and turn a breakdown nightmare into a minor disruption, and spend the rest of your day rolling.
If You're Stuck on the Road...
- Pull over to the shoulder and/or as far away from traffic as possible.
- Turn on your hazard lights and secure the area with flares, triangles, or cones.
- Assess the situation:
- Stay buckled in your vehicle if it is a dangerous or high-speed location.
- Immediately exit your vehicle if you smell or see smoke.
- Contact your dispatch, M&L Roadside Service, and/or 911, depending on severity.
- Always prioritize safety and follow your company’s safety procedures when in a breakdown situation.
Mobile Service Truck Capabilities
The Mobile Service Truck is equipped with a welder, air compressor, generator, basic hand and power tools, and has a crane on board. In addition, it has diagnostic equipment for electrical systems and most major engines, including Cat, Cummins, Detroit, and Paccar. M&L is able to fix most issues that would cause a D.O.T. officer to put a vehicle out of service on the roadside, including:
- Jump starts
- Belts and hoses
- Electrical
- Diagnostics
- Air system issues
- Fuel delivery
- Brake adjustments
- Windshield replacement
We are not able to complete air conditioning repairs, internal engine, transmission repairs, clutch issues, and rear differential failure on the road. Please book a shop appointment for these types of repairs.
We are not able to repair or replace tires. For tire-related needs, we recommend Hitchens Tire Service. Their phone number is 302-424-4724.
We do not offer towing services at this time; give us a call for a recommendation to your nearest trusted towing company. Our local favorites include Bradshaw’s, Jess Jr., Carey’s, and Blacked Out Towing.

M&L offers roadside service within 60 driving miles of either shop location and east of the Bay Bridge. This includes areas of Kent, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland; and New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties in Delaware.

You can call M&L Truck Service during business hours for roadside service. We can come to your location for on-site repairs as long as you are within 60 driving miles of either of our shops and east of the Bay Bridge.
Yes. We can fix lights, brakes, air lines, and more. Our ASE-certified technicians are experienced in a wide variety of trailer repairs, and many can be completed roadside. More in-depth trailer repairs, such as those that require welding, will need to be done in-shop. We do not service tires.
Pricing for the Mobile Service Truck is $180/hour, and that includes the drive time to reach you. There are no additional dispatching or travel fees.
No, we do not. We have several excellent towing companies that we frequently work with, depending on your area, including Bradshaw’s, Jess Jr., Carey’s, and Blacked Out Towing.
The most important thing is your location. Anything you can tell us beyond that is helpful! Let us know the symptoms you’re seeing in your vehicle, any pertinent repair history, engine codes, warning lights, and the like. This helps us make sure we’ve got the right parts and tools for the job when we arrive.
We will require payment by credit or debit card on-site at the time of repair. If you have ongoing fleet management services with M&L Truck Service, we can invoice you at a later time.
Yes. Roadside repairs are covered by the same warranty guarantee as they would be in-shop.
