DOT Truck Inspections
If your vehicle weighs 10,001 lbs. or more, you’ll likely need a DOT truck inspection. Our certified inspectors follow the official FMCSA and Maryland DOT inspection checklist, reviewing brakes, lights, tires, suspension, and safety systems. We make the process quick, clear, and compliant — so you can pass inspection and get back to business.

Maryland State Truck Inspections
If you’ve moved to Maryland or bought a used vehicle, you’ll need a Maryland State Inspection before registration. M&L Truck Service is a state-certified inspection station trusted by drivers and dealerships alike.
Common reasons for a Maryland State Inspection:
- You just moved to Maryland (60 days to complete certification)
- You bought, were gifted, or inherited a vehicle (90 days to complete certification)
Our technicians inspect everything from frame integrity to emissions controls, and we’ll walk you through any repairs needed to pass.
Crane Inspections
Your crane operators and transport teams depend on safe, compliant equipment. Our shop includes three OSHA-qualified crane inspectors trained in mobile crane inspection, maintenance, and load testing. Each inspector has completed formal classroom and field training, plus certification exams. We inspect boom trucks, mobile cranes, and hoisting equipment to meet annual OSHA standards.
Serving the Delmarva Region
M&L Truck Service proudly serves Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Delaware, and surrounding areas from our two shop locations: one in Federalsburg, MD, and another in Georgetown, DE. If you can make it here, we’ll make sure you pass.
